These Terms & Services explain how RaiseUp Happy home warranty plans work on raiseuphappy.com. They apply to website visitors, people who request a plan, and members who hold an agreement. A signed or accepted plan agreement controls if it conflicts with a marketing page. Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@raiseuphappy.com.

1. What this agreement is
A RaiseUp Happy home warranty is a service contract. It describes repair or replacement of listed home systems and appliances when they fail from normal wear and use during the term, subject to fees, limits, and exclusions. It is not an insurance policy, not a maintenance contract, and not a promise that every breakdown in the home will be paid.
The website describes Silver, Golden, and Platinum packages so you can compare them. The package you accept, including its schedule of items, cash limits, service fee, and start date, is the contract. Spoken comments, advertisements, and sample stories on this site do not add coverage.
2. Who may apply
Plans are offered for residential homes used as dwellings. The applicant must be the owner or a person the owner authorizes to buy coverage and to allow a technician inside. Commercial kitchens, dwellings used primarily as short-stay lodging, and homes under major construction are not eligible unless a written addendum says otherwise.
You confirm that the information in your application is accurate. If a listed item was already broken, leaking, or unsafe on the start date, that condition is pre-existing and is not covered, even if it is discovered later.
3. Plans and covered items
Silver lists core systems: central heating, central cooling, interior plumbing, the electrical system, and the primary water heater, each as defined in the schedule. Golden adds the kitchen appliance group, typically a refrigerator, range or oven, dishwasher, built-in microwave, and garbage disposal when those units are installed and named. Platinum adds the laundry pair, meaning the washer and dryer, when they are named.
An item is covered only if it appears on your schedule, is in place at the start date, and fails during the term from normal use. Unknown brands, leased equipment, and items you add after the start date are not covered unless we accept them in writing.
Systems
Heating and cooling coverage applies to permanently installed central equipment that serves the home. Window units, space heaters, and portable coolers are excluded. Plumbing coverage applies to interior supply and drain lines and to fixtures named in the schedule. Wells, septic systems, sprinklers, and pools are excluded. Electrical coverage applies to the panel, household wiring, switches, and outlets that are part of the home. Solar equipment, generators, and smart-home networks are excluded unless an addendum lists them.
Appliances
Appliance coverage applies to mechanical or electrical failure of the named unit. Cosmetic damage, food spoilage, knobs, shelves, and racks are excluded unless the schedule includes them. Commercial-grade appliances and units used in a business are excluded.
4. Term, fees, and limits
A standard term is twelve months beginning on the date stated in the agreement. You may pay the plan fee monthly or yearly. The billing choice does not change the coverage list. Coverage is not active until the first plan fee is received and any waiting period in the agreement has passed.
Each service request has a service fee. The fee is due for the visit even if the technician finds that the failure is excluded, unless the agreement says the fee is waived. Covered parts and labor are paid only up to the cash limit for that item during the term. When a limit is reached, additional cost is yours. We may repair, replace with a comparable unit, or pay the remaining limit as a cash settlement. Replacement is not an upgrade in size, features, or finish.
5. How to request service
Requests are made by email to care@raiseuphappy.com or through the contact form on this website. Include the plan identifier, the item, what it stopped doing, and photos or error codes if you have them. Do not begin a repair and expect reimbursement unless the agreement expressly allows a reimbursement claim and you received written approval first.
We review the request against the schedule and reply with the next step. If the item appears covered, we coordinate a qualified trade. Arrival times depend on parts and trade availability. We do not guarantee a same-day visit. If the home is unsafe because of fire, gas, or active flooding, get local emergency help first and write to us when the home is safe.
You agree to provide access, a safe work area, and accurate history of the item. If access is refused or the visit cannot proceed because an adult is not present, the service fee may still apply and the request may be closed.
6. Member duties
You remain responsible for ordinary maintenance. That includes replacing filters, keeping condensate lines clear, flushing a water heater when the maker recommends it, cleaning dryer vents, and not ignoring a visible leak. Failure caused by lack of maintenance, misuse, overloading, or a foreign object is excluded.
You must keep the equipment installed according to the maker's instructions. Improper installation, prior poor repairs, and mismatched components are excluded. You must tell us if you sell the home or if the equipment is replaced outside a covered claim.
7. Exclusions
Unless an addendum states otherwise, the plans do not cover pre-existing conditions, rust and corrosion as a sole cause, cosmetic damage, noise that does not affect function, routine maintenance, cleaning, adjustments, and resets. They do not cover damage from flood, storm, fire, lightning, freezing of a vacant home, pests, pets, vandalism, accident, or negligence.
They do not cover code upgrades, permits, haul-away beyond a standard replacement, restoration of walls, floors, or landscaping beyond the limited patch described in the agreement, or consequential loss such as hotel stays, spoiled food, lost wages, or water damage to belongings. They do not cover commercial use, common areas of multi-unit buildings unless the unit's own equipment is listed, or items still under a maker's warranty where that warranty should respond first.
Known recalls and design defects that the manufacturer must correct are excluded. So are upgrades you request for preference, capacity, or efficiency.
8. Diagnosis and non-covered findings
The technician's written findings are used to decide the claim. If the failure is excluded, we will say why in an email. You may ask for a review by writing to care@raiseuphappy.com within fifteen days and including any extra photos or service history. A review looks at the schedule and the findings. It does not create new coverage.
9. Cancellation and renewal
You may ask to cancel by email. If you cancel before coverage has been used and within the review window stated in your agreement, we refund the unused plan fee according to that agreement. After a covered request has been accepted, refunds may be reduced by the cost already incurred, as the agreement describes. We may cancel for non-payment, fraud, or a home that is no longer eligible. Notice of our cancellation is sent to the email on the account.
Renewal is offered when we send a renewal notice. The fee and schedule may change at renewal. Continued payment after the notice is acceptance of the new term. If you do not want to renew, tell us before the new term starts.
10. Transfer
If you sell the home, you may ask to transfer the remaining term to the buyer. The request must be in writing before the sale closes, the buyer must accept these terms, and any transfer fee in the agreement must be paid. A transfer does not restart limits already used and does not cover breakdowns that began before the transfer.
11. Website use
You may use raiseuphappy.com to read about plans, compare packages, and send a message. You may not scrape the site, attempt to break it, or send unlawful content through a form. Forms on this website check information in your browser only. Submitting a form does not by itself create a warranty contract. A contract exists when we confirm acceptance and the plan fee terms are met.
Sample prices on the pricing page are the published plan fees at the time you view them. We may correct an obvious pricing error before acceptance. Project stories and testimonials illustrate how requests can proceed. They are not a guarantee of the same timing, parts, or outcome.
12. Email list
If you subscribe, you agree to receive plan tips or renewal reminders at the address you enter. You can unsubscribe on the unsubscribe page. Unsubscribing stops marketing mail. It does not cancel an active warranty and it does not stop messages required to administer a request or a payment.
13. Intellectual property
The RaiseUp Happy name, logo, page design, and text are owned by RaiseUp Happy or used with permission. You may not copy the site for a competing service. You may share links to public pages.
14. Disclaimers and liability
The website is provided for general information. Plan descriptions are summaries. The agreement is the complete statement of coverage. To the extent allowed by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for amounts above the item limit or the plan fees you paid for the current term, whichever limit the agreement states. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud.
Technicians are responsible for workmanship they are hired to perform. A dispute about workmanship is handled under the request notes and, where required, the trade's own obligations. We coordinate covered work. We do not become the manufacturer of any appliance.
15. Disputes
Please write to hello@raiseuphappy.com and describe the dispute, the plan identifier, and the result you want. We will reply in writing. If the matter is not resolved, it will be handled under the dispute process named in your plan agreement and under the law that the agreement selects. Website visitors who do not hold an agreement should also write first so we can correct an error on the site.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these website terms by posting a new version with a new date. The version that applies to a plan is the version referenced in that plan, plus any amendment we send you. Continued use of the website after a website-terms update means you accept the updated website terms for future visits.
17. Contact
RaiseUp Happy, raiseuphappy.com. Email hello@raiseuphappy.com for plan questions and care@raiseuphappy.com for an open request. We do not publish a telephone number or a street address for this website. Please use email.
